Getting your referral
To get a referral (and rebate) to a psychologist, you have to book an appointment with your GP and let them know you want a referral to a psychologist. Your GP will then work with you to develop a mental health care plan (MHCP) and write you a referral letter to a psychologist if necessary. This referral letter MUST be addressed to one of our psychologists. You need to ensure that we receive a copy of your MHCP and referral letter either before or during your first session to be eligible to receive your rebate. The MHCP is valid for a total of 10 sessions a calendar year. For more information on our psychologist fees and rebates click the button below.
Addressing the referral
Please address your referrals to the psychologist you wish to see;
Ms Dale Shrestha, 256 Stirling Street, Perth WA 6000
Mr Aaron Neo, 256 Stirling Street, Perth WA 6000
Do I need a referral to book a session?
Not at all. We welcome self-referrals and anyone can book an appointment but you will not receive a medicare rebate without a valid mental health care plan. We are registered providers with most private health funds and you generally do not need a referral if paying privately so there is that option. If you do not have private health or a referral, you will have to pay the full session fees out of pocket.
