Many people see a psychologist without knowing what to expect or where or how to begin. This is perfectly fine. Some of the things that might be discussed in these sessions include identifying and clarifying your goals for yourself and your identity, examining your current situation and obstacles which might be preventing you from achieving your full potential.

In line with our mission of accessible mental healthcare for all, sessions are priced at $160 before rebates. You pay only approximately $70 out of pocket per session with a valid medicare rebate. Couples Counselling is charged at $180 per session. Do take note that couples and marriage counselling is not rebated by Medicare. Your private health cover may subsidise all or part of the cost, so make sure you check with them before you make a booking.
Psychological Testing is a process to measure various aspects of cognitive functioning such as personality, memory or problem-solving. Our Perth Psychologists can help you with most of your psychological testing needs. We have an extensive test library and are accredited practitioners for a range of assessments.
During the first few sessions, You are encouraged to pay attention to how you feel during and after each counselling or psychotherapy session to decide if the psychologist’s approach is a good match for you. If you feel that it’s not really going well, please do not hesitate to let them know and we can assist you in getting a referral to someone who might be a better fit.
